JAQ (Just Another Quartet) is a registered barbershop quartet that has been delighting audiences across the Niagara Region for over a decade. Originally formed by chorus members of A Cappella Niagara, we honed our craft under the direction of Derek Stevens—widely regarded as one of the most talented directors in the Ontario District.
Our time with A Cappella Niagara laid the foundation for our journey, allowing us to grow into one of the region’s premier a cappella ensembles. Over the years, JAQ has performed at a wide variety of venues and celebrations throughout Niagara, including a special performance of Christmas carols for Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati and his family.
Though our name may stand for Just Another Quartet, audiences quickly discover that we are anything but. JAQ features: Tenor: Jym Cummings, Bass: Howard Bogusat, Baritone: Dan Roy, and Lead: Kerry Russ
